Privacy and local processing

Your PDFs are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to any server.

What happens to your files

• When you choose a PDF, your browser reads it from your device into memory.
• The tool processes the file inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server for processing.
• The result is created in your browser and saved through a normal download.
• When you reset the tool or close the tab, the file data is released from the page.

What your browser does download

Like any website, your browser downloads this site's pages, styles, and scripts from ihatepdf.si. Tools load their processing code from the same site only when you use them. None of these requests contain your documents, the text inside them, or the results.

What we do not have

• No accounts or sign-up.
• No file storage or document history.
• No analytics or advertising trackers.

Check it yourself

You can confirm this with your browser's developer tools. Open the Network panel, use a tool, and you will see that no request carries your file.
